Lucky’s Roadhouse on lowest Greenville Avenue, formerly The Beagle, currently holds a Special Use Permit (SUP) allowing them to operate as a bar and as a Dance Hall. On May 8, 2008 the City Plan Commission will vote on Lucky’s application for a renewal of the Dance Hall SUP. If granted, this permit will allow for existing activities to continue, although the permit will remain with any business venture operating at that property for the next two years, rather than being limited only to the current operator, Lucky’s. At the March LGNA meeting, Dallas Police Department Lt. Barbara Hobbs gave us a recap of DPD’s St. Patrick’s efforts. This was Central Division’s first year to manage the event, and Lt. Hobbs talked with LGNA members about improvements in management and control. |

Be aware of your surroundings. On 2/8/08 Dallas Police Department Lieutenant Barbara Hobbs sent an email to several area neighborhood associations and residents warning of a disturbing incident nearby. |
