This report from Victor Aves (Lewis Street Captain):

YESTERDAY:  The helicopter and police were scouring Ross Ave/Lewis Street (6 police cars in front of our home) looking for a suspect in a mugging incident at the Dollar Store on Munger….don’t know details on robbery, but the suspect is a younger light skinned black man with Mohawk style haircut and possibly walks/runs with a limp…yesterday was wearing a blue shirt

THIS MORNING…Our neighbor at 5943 had her window broken out in an attempt to burglarize or steal her car…another neighbor witnessed the whole thing and we have a description of the vehicle as an older GOLD Chrysler…with 2 hispanic males…driver wearing ball cap and the other suspect appeared to be heavier set…they were bold enough to stop and ask her what she was doing in the middle street in the car…she told him she was calling the police --- they screeched off!!
